Help with logging in... - Guild Wars Forums

Sounds stupid.... my 'Account Name' is my email address which is correct, my password was correct and is still correct I have even tried resetting and trying again, I have tried to make a new account altogether and start from fresh but still get the damn

'Guild Wars was unable to complete the operation.'

'Please try again in a few minutes. (Code=004)'

I have been trying for 2 days and have not been able to log in once on either my old account or the new fresh one!!!

Please, please, please can someone enlighten me.... Am I missing something?

However, on very rare occassions, it may also be your connection causing issues, or your ISP blocking something, or some packets getting lost on the way.

I have read that was just unsure if there was anything anyone was aware of.. I cant see my ISP blocking it, I have logged in no problems before

Grrrr all logged in now, was entering my "characters" name wrong I was entering it as 'Name' forgot it was 'The Name' 2 words -.- epicccc fail

I am VERY sure your problems lies in the accountname... if you make a typo in accountname you get an error 004; if you make an error in password or charactername you get a different number (227).

Not sure what happens when you type a bad accountname that really exists (from someone else); probably a 227 too.

But basically error 004 means: this account does not exist.
